If you would like more information about our troop & the registration process, please begin by reading Welcome to AHG AR1815 Information 2019-20

If you are ready to join our troop, you may initiate registration here:  AHG AR1815 Registration Checklist

American Heritage Girls AR1815 is a brand new troop in 2018-19; we received our charter on August 24, 2018, and currently meet most Mondays during the school year from 6:00-7:30 just off of the interstate in Fayetteville. We are excited to have 25 registered girls and almost that many actively volunteering parents, spread fairly evenly across the ages from 5-17. So far in our inaugural year we've had two bonfire cookouts, a fire woman come talk to us about fire safety, a Connections night event where the Pioneer & Patriot Girls planned everything and performed a skit for us, Ireland Culture and Baked Potato Bar & Gym Games in March, as well as CPR/First Aid Certification for the older girls and leaders in April, which we are excited to be able to provide at no cost to our members, thanks to a grant we received from BCBS. We also have held a bonfire & our first camp out this summer, as well as revisiting Fayetteville National Cemetery, and a movie night.

We are actively pursuing two fundraising opportunities to help offset the cost, with a car wash fundraiser this summer as well as a fall option.  Let us know if that is an area you would like to help with, or have ideas for!

Our troop dues for girls are $120 a year for the first adult and daughter pair.  We do ask that one parent volunteers in some capacity.  The dues include $26 we send to AHG National Headquarters for background checks and training for the adult, $26 we send to AHG National Headquarters for each girl, as well as $20 we send to AHG National Headquarters for program development fees, for a total of $72 sent to AHG National Headquarters, with the remaining $48 being used for badges (up to 6 per year!) as well as craft supplies, special patches, occasional snacks, credit card & banking fees, etc.

Each additional daughter is $94 per year ($46 sent to AHG National Headquarters, $48 remains with our local troop to be
used for badges (up to 6 per year!) as well as craft supplies, special patches, occasional snacks, credit card & banking fees, etc. ).

Quarterly payment plans are an option.

Uniform costs depend on the age of the girl and her AHG level.  The same handbook is used from ages 6+, so it is a one time cost; only the kindergarten Pathfinders have a handbook used for a single year.

The AHG Store has adult volunteer uniforms (a red polo), girl uniforms, handbooks, etc. and may be accessed here: https://store.americanheritagegirls.org/

If you have sons as well, Trail Life Troop AR1815 meets in a different part of the same building during the same time.  You may view their website here:  https://tl-ar-1815-fayetteville.trooptrack.com/share/pages/32031
